Hello Betsy. In your case, does one have to say that you are a male-software or female-software?

Why not female-software, I assume my femininity! In this universe very macho of the software, I bring my part of sensitivity, intuition, approval. I do all that the male contents management systems does, but I add to it simplicity, softness, the assistance to those which are lost a little and frankly, I think that I am not unpleasant to look at, even as collèque a work!

And is this software femininity translated how in the facts?

All the women will understand me: male and female are not similar! For the software, it is also as of the design that one determines the sex. My parents wanted to conceive a software (I must say to say “software”!) who is close to the user, who eliminates data-processing brutalities, the male claim to tyrannize the users, to frighten them to show their power.
From the beginning, for example, I was designed to provide an on line help completely integrated into the program: this on line help is not an added trick, it is structural. Another example, to write an article, not need to be caught the head with me, it is direct, simple. My originators thus eliminated usual logics from the data processing specialists: each functionality is conceived firstly according to the mode of use and not according to the result of the functionality.

There, I imagine that you want to speak about ergonomics?

Yes, it is the priority. The users do not have to undergo the power of a software, this power must be with their service without being felt. Many programs are conceived to be only powerful, and the data processing specialists like to show their talent while making this power visible, with complicated interfaces which submerge the user.
Excuse me, but it is very easy to manufacture a male software! It is enough to develop powerful functionalities and to let the user manage hours to include/understand how that functions.
Ergonomics, they are not only pretty icons and wallpaper: it is the heart even of the software design. There are thousand ways of creating a powerful functionality, but there is not very little of it to create a powerful and ergonomic functionality.
My ideal, it is a user who does not put more than one fifteen minutes to include/understand how I function, without one explaining to him.

Of what are you proudest today?

I have still progress to make, but I believe that I am the control program of contents the Web simplest to use of my generation, while having the advanced functionalities of the others.
To create and manage a tree structure of headings at home, it is hyper simple.
To manage the rights of the administrators Web is done in some clicks: you choose the functionalities, you choose the headings and hop, it is finished. In more it completely is personalized, individualized.
Me libraries of images or documents are signal also: a click, you charge, a click you insert the image or the document in your article. Why become complicated the life?

Why a Webmaster choose you would?

Because I would never ask him to become a superman or a wonderwoman data processing!
